During this workshop students, both new and experienced, will work on three paintings including a palette knife painting.

No previous experience is necessary for this very satisfying art venture. During the 5 day intensive workshop, students will complete an image of a detail of a 15th century icon. We will be using acrylic gouache and 23 carat gold leaf. Short meditations and some instruction on the history and purpose of Christian iconography begin each day. Other than for instruction and questions, the workshop is generally held in silence with Gregorian Chant and Plainsong as background music.
The workshop meets daily from Monday through Friday, 9 am through 4:30 pm in our studio.

All Materials & Studio Facilities: $75.00
Studio Time:
We have Studio Time on Thursdays. Studio Time is a drop-in time during which artists join Colin in the studio to work on their own pieces (note: Studio Time does not include instruction). Studio Time price: $8/hr.
Private Lessons:
Private lessons with Colin can be arranged for $25/hr.
